Landscaping Installation

Landscape installation is much like adding an addition to your home, only it is on the outside. Whether you are interested in installing new flowerbeds, complete with colorful plants and trees, or you are searching for a solution to water build up in your yard, our professional, friendly and uniformed staff can do whatever it takes to meet and exceed your landscape installation needs.

Our Landscape Install Teams have a vast array of knowledge when it comes to regrading, sod installation, and drainage installs. We offer both residential and commercial landscape installation services to our clients.

The services our staff specialize in include:

Drainage Solutions: Without proper drainage solutions in place, water may collect and pool in low-lying areas or even worse, along your home’s foundation. With the addition of French drains, catch basins, dry wells, and outdoor sump pumps, water can be moved away from your home’s foundation and relocated to designated locations.

Grading and Leveling: Low spots or sloping yards can cause water from rain or irrigation systems to pool and run towards your home. Grading refers to the slope of a yard away from your home's foundation while leveling is the process of smoothing out your lawn. Both grading and leveling will help improve your yard's drainage and appearance.

Hardscape Installation: Hardscape installation can include virtually any type of decorative or functional addition to your lawn and landscape. Hardscaping consists of all the non-living elements of a landscape such as cobblestone edging around a flowerbed, a gravel path through a grassy area, or a paver border along a driveway. Timber retaining walls used to tame a large slope or small garden wall are just a few more examples. These projects evolve over time because they take some planning and often involve new plantings as accents to bring the area together.

Seed Installation: Planting grass seed can be a more economical way to start or restore your lawn. With proper soil preparation and daily watering, the seedlings will start to shoot up in about three weeks. To achieve a full lush lawn, the lawn will need to be overseeded and aerated for the next two years. Cool-season grass, such as fescue, should be installed in spring or fall. Warm-season sod, such as zoysia, should be installed from late spring through the summer.

Sod Installation: Sod is an instant lawn that has been grown under peak conditions for over a year. Installing sod ensures that you will have a quality weed proof lawn in just a day or two. With proper soil preparation and daily watering, the sod will take root in three weeks. Cool-season sod such as fescue should be installed in spring or fall. Warm-season sod such as zoysia should be installed in late spring through the summer.

Tree, Shrub, and Plant Installation: Even the most beautiful landscape can look barren without a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and textures. With our extensive expertise in selecting the right plants and access to the best nurseries, we can help you select the perfect trees, shrubs, and perennials for your landscape. When installing new plants we ensure proper soil amendments are added to the soil so your plants will quickly adapt to their new home.

P&M Lawn and Landscaping is dedicated to exceeding our client’s expectations, no matter the project!
